Giles, if you would like to get by in American society, then you are going to have to follow our traditions. You're the patriarch. You have to host the festivities, or it's all meaningless.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I definitely had to learn how to watch it because of its fuck-all approach to continuity, and there were definitely some bits I really liked. But I feel like it was a low percentage compared to what left me scratching my head or feeling unsatisfied.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I must track down the first season, but I find it (apart from much of the last 94 minutes) a very compelling and almost painfully human show.

I was expecting a comedy comedy, but there you go.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, painfully human is an excellent description.

Always Anti-fascist!

Sometimes that is really funny(I love his stand-up) but sometimes the show is more like "?!"

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm super over Louie, so I'm ready to finish out the season tonight.

I liked the finale. Didn't love this season like last season, though.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm slowly watching the past season of Parks and Rec, and I don't know how it will progress, but the idea of Andy performing at kids' parties is genius.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

ita,

the first season of Louie is probably the funniest of all the seasons. My favorite ep is the one where he takes a plane to Alabama (?). The whole episode is one big WTF that really entertains me. I've seen that ep like 8 times.

This is FX Louie, right, not HBO?

Yes.
