Brooklyn Nine-Nine continues to be my happy place. How great was Craig Robinson in last night's episode? Peralta's pimp-daddy white suit! Jake & Rosa backstory! ANDRE BRAUGHER SPENDING AN ENTIRE EPISODE WITH PUPPIES IN HIS ARMS.

Yes! It's just fun, and the ensemble is so very likable. I think I may love Terry Crews character the very most, but it's really a crap shoot of liking. It is a happy place.
You guys, please don't shun me, but...
I'm really not feeling this season of Community. So far it just feels weird for the sake of being weird.
I haven't seen tonight's ep yet, but I can't let that post hang. Actively not shunning.
Naw, it's cool. I've got on my shun-proof hat.
Made of tinfoil.
I know. I can't help it.
I liked the first two episodes, but tonight's left me with a big "Huh?" The tag was funny, and there were bits I liked, but the central premise made me keep asking which show they were parodying. A CSI type show? A Bones/Castle type of show? All of the above? Too diffuse.
And somebody - *cough* Dan Harmon - obviously thought the coin bit was way, way funnier than it was.
The tag was funny
The tag made me laugh my ass off.
Was the color of the episode deliberately cool/blue? Because I actually fiddled with the color on our TV's setting for a while because it looked so weird.
They were definitely giving a LOOK to the episode. But after the Law & Order episode they shouldn't have gone anywhere near this territory this soon without a more solid target.
Even the credits - anyone recognize that font from another show?
Seriously, if they want to go off the deep end, they should come up with an American Horror Story parody. I'd love to see an opening credits for Community with the AHS font, music, style, etc.
I'm gonna say it was a little Se7en, a little Zodiac, a little The Killing, probably some stuff I don't watch. More akin to paintball and zombies than Law and Order as episodes go, but serial killers. If that makes sense to anyone who isn't me.
Anyway, I enjoyed it muchly. But not enough to shun.
And then Parks & Rec was pretty great. So I'm happy.
