I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, crap, it's Thursday! Time to doublecheck the DVR...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I feel, so far, that even when it's not hitting the highs of the best Community eps, it is still enough like itself that I come to it over most other sitcoms. The characters are so clearly defined and the direction doesn't seem to be varying as much as the writing is not the best examples. But it's different in its good way still.

I concur.

Tonight's so made me thinky, which is nice. Jeff at the door (I'm not sure if it was ran away or when he came back) looked terrified, and I recognized the look but couldn't place when I'd seen it. On my way to work I realized it was from Foosball, very appropriately.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Do we know where Andre is, beyond being gone? eta: Shirley said something about him being gone this year, but was something more was said? I got Bubbaed and missed some dialogue last night

I look more rad than Lutheranism

For last night's episode, she said he had to work at the stereo store for Black Friday (since it was Thanksgiving -- the whole delayed premiere of the season has really thrown things off for me).

One of the themes that I really enjoy Community's treatment of (sorry, grammarians, I'm tired) is how all of our main characters are, one way or another, growing up while at Greendale, but that means something different and looks very different for each of them. For Jeff it's often letting go of the trappings of Being Grown Up and that was showcased pretty well last night.

I'm a little conflicted over Abed's Shawshank voiceovers.

Eta: I know what you mean, Tep. I need a Feb 7 to Oct 19 date converter so I can know what time of year it is. Still, last time were talking Halloween episodes vs Xmas episodes I did notice that there were no Thanksgiving episodes, so I'm kind of pleased that there is one now just 'cause of that.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Catching up on Archer from a week ago, and I have to say Archer team + Tony Bourdain = hilarious in my book. I'm a little sorry that Barry and Katya probably 86d any future appearances.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

So I was very proud of myself for noticing that the song Shirley was humming to herself as she was loading the washing machine was the same jazzy little piece of elevator music that Abed came up with (and Troy was bopping along to) in "Horror Fiction in Seven Spooky Steps". Then it occurred to me that since I do often miss these things, it might have recurred more than that. Anybody ever catch it in any of the other eps?
