I didn't get it either (I thought he was Tina Turner), nor did I get Troy's (I thought he was Tigger). They were Calvin and Hobbes.
Annie's comment about "indoor swings" made me laugh too.
You could break a lamp!

You could break a lamp!
They were Calvin and Hobbes.
Omigosh, I hang my head in shame for not getting that!
Then I get over it and point out that Calvin being taller than Hobbes threw me. Yeah, that's the ticket.
The secret dogs part was probably the best part! Somehow I think Donald Glover wrote that line.
That would make sense, yes.
I didn't get the Calvin and Hobbes costumes, either.
The character notes are not slowly developing. The characterization is getting shorter.
To be fair, they only have 12 episodes this season, so I can understand rushing things a little.
yes, but I'm hopeful for the movie!
I'm sure there will be plenty of personal growth left to attain by then.
Upon a second (post-wine) viewing, I liked it better. Not a classic like Epidemiology, but fine.
I just watched it again too, and also liked it a lot more the second time.
I didn't have any wine yet either.
I don't know if the wine made a difference, but I figured it was better to disclose.
Next week I don't work Thursday evening, so I will be able to relax at home and watch Community and Parks & Rec as they air, the way God and NBC intended. I am so looking forward to that!
