Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Does this imply that Charlie Sheen was a good influence on Chuck Lorre?

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'd say the problem is more Amy than Sheldon. In past seasons, she was a match for Sheldon -- comparable intellectually (and in social skills), and willing to stand up to him. This season, she seems to have lost 75 IQ points or so and become Sheldon's and Penny's sidekick. While Amy becoming a social being could be an interesting theme to the show, the scriptwriters are not taking her in good directions.

I think Sheldon is just reacting in his usual way to the change in Amy. He sees her deference to him as no more than what he deserves as a superior being and what he demands from everyone.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think I disagree with it being just an Amy issue. It's how Sheldon has been dealing with his assistant as well, and in the most recent ep, a large part of Leonard and Sheldon's fight involved Sheldon telling Leonard he was drinking too much soy milk and the estrogen from that was making him think like a woman, which was clearly a BAD THING.

Always Anti-fascist!

I mean, it was always in there, but now you could really see why Leslie Winkle might really hate Sheldon.(Not that we saw it that much while she was on.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Matt,

have you heard about the man who is being hunted by the LAPD - allegedly killing the daughter and future son-in-law of a LA cop, killing another cop, and injuring two other cops -

Charlie Sheen put out a video asking the guy to contact him and turn himself in to him. He would escort him to the police.

So, Charlie Sheen is unpredictable, not really a nice person, but I guess he is trying.

Always Anti-fascist!

That would only work in a movie, though, not real life. But at least CS craziness might accomplish something?

It may also accomplish Charlie Sheen getting shot down by someone with even less self-control and stability than he has. I hope for everyone's sake that the authorities are the ones to make first contact with the guy.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

But CS is trying to get it to work in real life!

Is that the part of the crazy? Because things are so crazy, I'm not quite sure.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I hope for everyone's sake that the authorities are the ones to make first contact with the guy.

The LAPD has made it clear that they’re going to shoot him on sight, and they’ve also shown that they’re not very discriminate about whether or not they’re shooting the right guy.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's really insane. They've shot three people already. [link]
