This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, that was my guess, Tep.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Tep,

that's how I took it. I think the new season ep was being very meta and also addressing FAN fears the show was going down the toilet in light of the creator leaving. So that's why there was all this irritating bullshit thrown in (laugh track, catchphrase, even 3 camera shots I think)

Absolutely, that was all about the new showrunner angst in fandom. Which they probably needed to deal with, so that's fine, but I feel like it's not a good basis for judging how the rest of the season is going to go.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Archer continues to be a wonder, however.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

WORST QUEBECOIS ACCENT EVER.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

WORST QUEBECOIS ACCENT EVER.

I doubt they went outside Atlanta for that one.

Quebeckers aren't really rare and mysterious. Atlanta's not an excuse.

Untrue! Exotic and strange. Very few Americans have heard Quebecois. You might as well be doing a Basque accent.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Please, I live in the near-rural South and I've palled around with more than one person from Quebec.

Yeah, maybe they're hard to find in San Francisco (for no reason I can work out), but if I can find them in Detroit and it's not my job, Archer has zero excuse for that crap.
