Cordelia: I get it now. You're all spies. Probably all Russian. And you've brainwashed me, and want me to believe we're friends so I'll spill the beans about some nano-technology thingy that you want. Gunn: So I look Russian to you? Cordelia: Black Russian. Angel: That's a drink.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

HIMYM: Barney has a half sister?

It's been implied that she will be the Mother. Hence, Uncle Barney and Uncle Robin.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Community: "Human Sexuality" is where I think Troy and Abed became Troy and Abed. The previous ep, with Fieval, Troy was still hung up on the Troy-centric model of friendship ("You're MY friend") and in Human Sexuality, Troy starts off trying to compete with Abed, but realizes that it's not what their friendship is all about. This ep ends with Abed tenderly reading Troy to sleep with a science textbook and tucking him in.

Surprisingly decent Pierce advice/conversation with Jeff at the end. I also enjoyed the Reverse Porky's shenanigans the ladies got up too. They had the lighthearted sex romp storyline, and the dudes got the relationship stuff.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It's been implied that she will be the Mother

And now she's not. Take that, fandom!

Hey. New board.

Doesn't the narrator also say Aunt Lily and Uncle Marshall? Because that would certainly argue against that stretch-of-a-theory.

Gris beat me to it. My original statement was because I don't remember a half-sister mentioned before. Is she his father's daughter?

Thrive to spite them

I'm pretty sure the narrator refers to Aunt Lilly and Uncle Marshall. Besides it's fairly common for the close friends of parents to be referred to Aunt or Uncle.

She was mentioned in the ep(s) with John Lithgow. The main reference I remember is a dinner scene where they say their daughter couldn't be there because she's off at college.

I don't think there was any actual implication that she would be the mother, it was just a really popular fan theory.

Thanks! I've been a lurker on and off for a while, have posted very sparingly before in a few threads, heh.
