Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

One person did suggest "Introduction to Film" for that same reason, but I think Abed's worldview will come through in the other episodes.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

new eps of Community will finally be airing soon!

In Canada.

I have a sense of perspective of course, but it is difficult for me to express how absolutely bullshit this decision is.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am not sure if this is a fuckup, but is it really possible the show will air in Canada before it does here?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's happened before, but in my experience, it's usually with Canadian-produced shows. La Femme Nikita, Flashpoint...

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

right. which I would expect. Not vice versa.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Site now says January.

New episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender aired in Canada before they aired here. And ads promoting new episodes aired in BRAZIL before they began promoting them here. Never underestimate network fuckery.

Oh, and as far as Intro to Film, I think it shows Abed's pain, but also what made him who he is (his father's non-nurture of his different nature, etc) and that he's a motherfucking manipulative genius to put the whole film together. I'm on mobile, so not flipping back and forth, but does the chicken mafia fit into your timeline, and if so, is it on the list?

Chicken mafia is "Contemporary American Poultry," and it's a favorite of mine. Definitely on the list!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am still living in hope that any given Friday (or, hey, any day, I don't care) will turn out to be Oct. 19th in our hearts.

But the "Watch Full Episodes" part of NBC.com (that also says " catch up on Season 3 leading to Community's glorious return") has "available until 1/5/13" tacked onto the recent episodes. So I would guess US and Canada air dates will be the same and are tentatively January.
