Mary Jane jokes are new to me too
I watched it until the first commercial, and saw what you were saying. I don't think I like it.
Oh, nice hint "I only went to one party, St. Patrick's Day and I left early"
That two-minute date might be the cutest thing I've ever seen.
yes, it was adorable. And the taxi driver was awesome (although no taxi in NY could get around the block in less than two minutes :) )
That guy can do anything.

Seriously!!

I really, really love the idea that Stella could be Your Mother, but I can't see how the writers can make it work with everything else they've already laid out--especially the two kids listening to the story. There's no way the girl is nine years older than the boy (which she'd have to be, if Stella's daughter is presently 8), there's been no mention of an older sister in any of the framing device bits, and the handful of kid art pictures we've seen (going to the zoo with Aunt Robin, etc.) have shown only two kids. Plus, Stella wasn't the random woman Ted bumped into and apologized to at the party, and if that woman wasn't YM, why did they bother throwing that little exchange in at all?
The more I think about it, the more I love the idea of Stella as YM, but the more I doubt the writers have enough handwavium, flabotonum and asspullium to make it all work.
Sad now.
Of course, maybe there's no daughter...
