Oh, right. OK.
If you loved Freaks and Geeks, you will love Paul Feig's detailed walkthrough of the show.
Heh. (mostly) Affectionate ribbing from the AVClub:

Surprising no one who’s witnessed the incipient reign of Zooey Deschanel, Fox has officially picked up Deschanel’s New Girl for a second season, ensuring at least another year of expanding the Deschanel dominion. “Let them eat miniature cupcakes topped with a single Skittle and affixed with kitten stickers,” Deschanel will proclaim in a fake regal accent from her throne, a reupholstered vintage movie theater seat. Anyway, it’s certainly welcome news for fans of the show—which is actually quite good, never mind how easy it is to mock Deschanel’s “adorkable” Etsy-ness—and a sign that Fox is pretty happy with its current Tuesday night lineup, as the network also issued official renewals for Glee and Raising Hope with the implication that all three would remain neighbors next year. “Hooray, that means I can invite them over to my record party—only 45s! I’ll provide the kombucha punch and vegan Rice Krispies treats,” Deschanel said in our imagination, which is just gently ribbing her because it’s fun.
I thought that the best part of community was the voiceover bit at the end. "Were you in The Cape?" (pause) "No."
That was a totally awesome cherry on top
I'm now wondering what other shows Matt Bomer could make better/more enjoyable. Maybe all of them?

I am thinking yes, all of them. I am getting a serious hodgeberry vibe off of he and Blane though.
It doesn't help that they sang a love song! But I kind of dug that reimagining -- not all strong and important relationships are romantic ones? But yes anyway.
Wait... Bomer sings, too?!??
I just wanted to squee a little bit over Raising Hope's renewal. Also, they did the thing I was hoping they would do -- reveal that Hope's serial-killer mom is alive, because that would complicate things very funnily.
