"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It was the funniest one I've seen in a long time.

Really? I liked the train one last week.

Though nothing this season has been as good as his cancer rage, or the WWI flashback, "Double Deuce."

Maybe I just don't find mounties as funny now that Leslie Nielsen is gone. Last week's was good, particularly the traintop fight and the ocelot or whatever, but this one had me laughing start to finish.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Poor Mounties, getting inherently saddled with Leslie Nielsen baggage. As a part time Canadian, I didn't know that was even an issue!

WTF? Saturday Night Live has an entertaining musical guest who's not a former Beatle, how'd that happen?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Paul Simon? TMBG? JonB?

JonB has been a guest there?

Though I take it back about Karmin. The first 30 seconds of the first number was great, but now I'm wishing for gong to summon the hook and yank them offstage.

No, but he should be. He'd be a totally entertaining musical guest! And SNL's roster has been sadly lacking in either silver pleather wearers or thereminists, so they could kill two birds with one stone.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Not big fans of Robyn, then, I take it.

Because books.

(Robyn was fantastic. And I really liked Karmin the other night, too.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

HIMYM: Not again. I did like the surprise at the end with Barney's new love interest. I did not see that coming.
