I don't listen to the commentaries with Chase on them. I find him irritating, unfunny, and unrewarding enough that he spoils everyone else. I enjoy Pierce more than the man himself.
I've never seen anything in an outtake or general press that made him seem even vaguely entertaining either. The others are pretty consistently hilarious to me, though.
He was very strange at Comic-Con, like he was barely paying attention to where he was.
Channing Tatum is actually good on SNL... especially his Matthew McConaughey impression. My world is all askew.
Glee: Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell.
Cast as
Rachel's dads
.
OMG.
I might have to start watching Glee again, if only for that episode.
This week Tee Fury is doing She Fury and featuring all female artists. For you Community and Calvin and Hobbes fans, you might want to check out today's shirt.
Just making sure that everybody that is a fan of
both
Archer and Mad Men sees Sterling Archer Draper Pryce.
'Cuz it makes me laugh out loud.
That was pretty damn funny.
Whatever song Brian Stokes Mitchell sings will be a must-watch for me, but I'll wait until I can get a Hulu/Youtube link for it.
I also recently watched Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, and Pierce really was vile in it, but honestly it didn't make me hate the character any more than I already did. It may have helped. I was pitying Pierce Hawthorne right along with the other characters. Even more so in the next episode about Annie's awful drug play, actually. He is so seriously desperate for people to like him, and of course so awful that nobody ever will, that it leads him into this horrific circle of increasing vileness.
I think Pierce's character improves the show for a variety of reasons, and I actually think I understand why they keep him around, though I wouldn't. I wouldn't fit in that group at all, though.
