Because books.

The Hope babies are superhumanly adorable. I don't know where they found those twins, but they're the best. And I love that they're acknowledging her growth instead of packing her off daycare and coming back to her when she's in elementary school or whatever.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That was delightful. No watching PBS or NBC comedies, heh.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I just caught up on the latest Parks and Rec on TiVO delay and nearly ruptured the spleen from laughing too hard during that ridiculous march to the stage.

"I'm holding the dog. Now he's peeing. I'm holding the dog and he's peeing."

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

SO great to see a three-legged pit get acting work.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

He can do everything with three legs better than other dogs can with four legs!

Except for digging. He's terrible at digging!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I must be getting old, because the two sitcoms I really dig are so sharing and caring.

Wait, no, still loving Archer. I think I'm balanced out.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Archer! Back tonight!!!!!!!

Hooray for metaphors! I need a heavy dose of Woodhouse in this episode. There was none in the pirate idyll, and "Double Deuce" is one of my favorite eps.

Emmett and I still whisper, "That's a lot of scalps" to each other.

But as long as I see Mallory with a Stuben glass full of vodka, and Gillette being bitchy about his eyepatch and Lana says "Yup" I'll probably be good. Oh, and Krieger! And Cheryl! I need them all.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Did I mention that JZ's present to Emmett this Christmas was a shirt that said, "Grill me a cheese"? With a pointed gun?
