Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm a real cupcake purchaser, and if it's gotta be a mix, make it a mix I can't buy for myself, eh?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Cornbread mix is good for adding shit into to make really good. If that were the plot I'd be all over it. Ditto angel food cake - the mix is really going to exceed homemade, assuming you haven't spent six months in France or something. Regular cake - it's just not hte same thing.

Because books.

Also, like ita ! said, they really need to get rid of all of the ethnic stereotyping.

I think that's part of Whitney Cummings's regular schtick, though. And she's the creator, I believe.

I don't really know anything about her, other than the fact that the preview for Whitney looked awful to me.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Continuing on with Community, and I suddenly realized I want a Community/Alphas crossover so Troy and Abed can interact with Gary.

Abed and Bill interacting could be pretty funny too.

I'd have to taste that to believe it, since everything I've tasted that's a supermarket mix has been handily outdone by a careful custom recipe.

But I do not care enough to buy and mix my own.

Always Anti-fascist!

I actually like the *show* Whitney, sj, but I would agree that the guys who came up with those trailers need to be set upon by dogs. But when it's just her and her boyfriend, especially, it's pretty decent.(It's no MTM, but good for some chuckles.) I think I've had mostly store-bought angel food, so nothing to add to that conversation.

Thrive to spite them

I'm still very YAY Community. Although I'm hating Jeff's hair. I'm up to Competitive Wine Tasting.

Advanced Dungeons and Dragons was another great episode. And I liked Abed and the secret service agent, especially their "date".

Oh wait Jeff's hair is looking normal again. I don't like his bangs down it looks weird.
