Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I find I like Chevy Chase even less after becoming a Community fan¹, but I can handle Pierce appropriately. I don't find him a Rygel (which I never quite forgave Farscape for), because even though he's despicable, it does seem to be clear why he's a regular. I do miss Chang a bit, since they toned him down this season. That's the kind of nasty I'm wholeheartedly behind.

¹: I skip the commentaries he's on, and I don't watch much cast stuff that he appears in. He just spoils it for me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Since the show doesn't need me to like Pierce, I mind Chevy less than I thought I would. He doesn't even ruin the commentaries for me, though he doesn't add value.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I hadn't watched any of it, but kept seeing it being mentioned flatteringly. My only sitcom was Raising Hope, though, and I was pretty content with that. Then the # of mentions on IO9 of geek-friendly content became too much, and by the time they revealed the Firefly death pact, I just had to go look.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with this.

I watched that after the Firefly clips, so technically, it wasn't my primary impetus.

You know what I did cave and watch with your recommendations directly in mind, bon? Archer. And I'm enjoying the fuck out of it. I should listen more, fine.

But, Jesus, it's so fucking wrong.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But, Jesus, it's so fucking wrong.

It's even better in the second season!

Well, right now I'm in the middle of the cancer subplot in the second season, which I totally don't need, but hey. I'm the sensitised one.

However, that was kinda well handled.

Surprisingly, yes.

Considering this is a show with revenge anal, remarkably so.
