I have a sudden desire to erupt into "Midnight Train To Georgia" now.

BWAH! god that show is GENIUS!
Yeah, I'm unclear -- I thought Earl had another couple eps in the can, but I guess not. However, they're locked in for another season, so we can count on seeing the character get out of his coma. (Although it would be meta-funny to see a season where instead of being in jail, Earl is in a coma for most of the season....)

It really is. I love subtitle humor. That was perfect.

Yeah, so did I, but they had some hourlong eps, and they were showing a lot of episodes without a break, so I guess they ran out quicker than I thought they would.
HMOG! Just caught up with last night's TDS and TCR and Colbert dancing (and lip synching) to "When Dove's Cry" at the SMITHSONIAN made me hurt myself laughing.
His incredibly tasteless yet hilarious joke when looking at Lincoln's hat was almost as good.
The boys are doing a pretty good job on their own, but you can tell they miss their writers (as Stephen's closings remark made abundently clear).

The Smithsonian guy's doubletake reaction had me laughing even harder than the joke itself.

Yeah, that too, especially since it fell just about half a beat after my recognition of what Colbert had just said.

That really was priceless.
