What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, Community was great. I love the continuation of the Troy-is-a-mechanic-savant storyline. Plus, more Inspector Spacetime ! "The question isn't HOW old we are, but WHEN old we are."

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I loved Community. The whole a/c thing just hits my funny bone. Like there is an a/c cabal. It is so absurd and also strikes me as TRUE.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's so over the top it went right around and came back over and was TRUE. John Goodman sold it so hard, and the air that you can't feel, because that's the room temperature room was brilliant.

I love Troy being savant at the things the cool (NPI) don't value. And instead deciding to sit on the sofa wasting time with his friend. Who's willing to pretend to be him, so he won't break his vow of secrecy.

It was BRILLIANT.

And Britta was pretty bright, too.

Last night's "Big Bang Theory" had me crying with laughter. Amy and Sheldon cuddling on the couch. Drunk Amy in front of the liquor store. Comedy gold. (Don't know if I need spoiler font, but figured it's better to play it safe.)

(And hi -- I delurked in the Delurking thread a few days ago. Love BBT and "Parks and Rec.")

right?

I have to watch the ep again because it was really awesome.

And the janitor who warned Troy just gets me every time he is on screen. Beau came downstairs during the toilet scene and said "what are you watching? It looks crazy!"

I replied, "it IS crazy. And I love it."

Yes, exactly!

Who is that plumber? He's so everyman. He kills me. That was entirely the sneak best of the season so far. No big concept, no flashy alterna anything. But just fucking great.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The AVclub review focuses the description on Pierce and his father, but although that was the A story I suppose, I will remember this ep primarily for the B story. This episode would not nearly have been as enjoyable for me if it didn't have the B story.

Who is that plumber? He's so everyman.

The A.V. Club review identified him as Jerry Minor, which sounded familiar...because, yeah, he was in Mr. Show ! And a million other things.

This episode would not nearly have been as enjoyable for me if it didn't have the B story.

Totally.
