I've mostly seen good reviews. I only know the name Christina Applegate, haven't seen her work before. Melissa McCarthy as Suki was great, I'll bet she's really good. I'll check it out. Thanks for info.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

You never saw Married with Children?! What are ya, a Commie?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Married with Children used live actors?

I thought it was a cartoon. You learn something new every day.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Christina Applegate also did an inconsequential but totally pleasant, sadly canceled sitcom ages and ages ago called Jesse, which made our own Jesse squee because there just aren't that many girl-Jesses out there, spelled in proper Jesse fashion and all.

And she had one of the best ever guest roles on Friends as one of Rachel's sisters -- she did such a brilliant, slightly twisted but spot-on impersonation of Jennifer Aniston. I love Reese Witherspoon to death, but Christina Applegate was such a better Rachel's sister. I've been slightly in awe of her ever since.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I actually really liked Jesse the first year, when she was a waitress/nursing student and was sort of realistically lower class but working her way into being able to support hereself and her son.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I've liked her since Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, which, while not a great movie, was sweet and funny enough and allowed her to play a different character than Kelly.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yes, to both those things.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What they said. Especially JZ and Sophia.

I'm on the JZ, Sophia, -t, erika, Jesse bandwagon WRT Christina Applegate. I did not like the one ep that I saw of that new show, though. More's the pity.

Yup. I was forced to watch for a few minutes once and the laugh track + grating voices were like nails on chalkboard. That's all I remember of it. I watched Friends, though, starting at the first "will it end?" contract negotiation then working backwards and forwards. I remember Reese W. but not her, sadly.

Which reminds me, wasn't Eddie Cahill on L&O? When did he leave? [link] I'm wrong, it's L&O NY. That is still on? Anyone watching that? How's it doing these days?
