I really liked that both girls were intelligent in their own ways, so not completely cliched, but the final scene with the horse was kind of stupid.

Yes! This season's plotline is heavily dependent on last season. Also, it's awesome.

Me too, especially the Jeff parts. I think I am going to love John Goodman on the show though
