Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Hey, Teppy - did you see that Michael Urie is going to host a Miss America reality show thingy on TLC? [link]

Ann, that's a ferret.

Is it okay to say, "Razza-frazzin' writers' strike, no new comedies airing!" if I don't blame the writers?

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, I guess. I especially want "The Office" back. After a fair agreement, of course.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Has the series finale of Extras aired in the US yet?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Yes. Not quite what I expected, but satisfying nonetheless.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It's totally the AMPTP's (sp?) fault that the comedies aren't coming back. :: sends head-exploding thoughts their way ::

Extras: I found myself wondering how many of those conversations Ricky has had in real life. As the last few years, he has appeared desperate for fame. I thought it was brilliant - it was a fitting send up of the culture Ricky has gotten himself in to.

I'm not sure how well the humour translated. There was a lot of it, but a lot can't have been known outside the UK I'd imagine (Jade Goody doll yelling at Shilpa, for example). I found the last half hour very emotional.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Remember when Michael Scott drove into the lake?

Ann, that's a ferret.

This means there really are people out there as clueless as Michael.

How frightening is that?

Incidentally, our division director is named Michael (but goes by Mike). He has his flaws, but he's a vast improvement over Mr. Scott.

I totally know people who would do that, alas.
