Someone elsewhere was complaining that everyone learnt a lesson. Abed doesn't learn a lesson. Abed doesn't change. I think that's a show premise, from the commentaries. Pierce doesn't learn a lesson-his bad behaviour is essentially rewarded. Troy is rewarded equally for bad behaviour as for good, and pays precisely no penalty. There's no indication that Britta won't make the same mistake again.
Jeff learns a lesson. But...Jeff learning lessons is pretty much what he's been doing since day one.
Abed's professor learned a lesson--don't mess with Abed.
Abed doesn't have to be right. He's just that implacable.
I'd heard about that Paul Reiser show a while ago and wanted to watch it, but I had no idea that it was starting this week. I haven't seen any promos at all.

Did you see some of the stuff on the board? There was chemistry! My favorite part was the Abed stuff. The rest was sort of meh. Although Chang's face when Pierce was talking was hysterical.
I watched about 1/2 of the Paul Reiser show because I used to love Mad About You, but it wasn't awful, it just didn't hold my interest. Then I had to do dishes and I missed the rest. There are a lot of wacky sidekicks - not sure I'd dig that in the long run.
I watched it on Demand, found it kind of funny, but pilot-y. I actually liked the latest Community, especially Stephen Toblowsky as the pop-culture prof.
I find my interest in Paul Reiser projects is directly proportional to how much interaction he has with Greg Evigan in them.
re: Reiser show:
oh, well.

Har. You just want them to get together. I continue to hope that Paul Reiser and Greg Evigan guest star on Glee as Rachel's gay dads.
So, the Warblers are actually the Tufts Beelzebubs! [link]
The Paul Reiser show looked unbearable to me from the promos. But I can't stand the Larry David show either.
