Actually, that's not true. I got mono from someone who had had it twice.
Also, I had a mild case of mono and once I finally figured it out, I slept through Labor Day weekend and was pretty much okay. It had lasted a couple of months until that point but hadn't slowed me down.

As soon as the opening notes for "Fat Bottomed Girls" started I was cringing in sympathy for Lauren. She has a really healthy self-image, but still -- as she said, it's the first time anyone ever sang a love song to her (and I think it's a stretch to call that a love song, anyway) and it made her feel like crap.
