It still bugs me that we're expected to believe that Burt owns a 1 bedroom house.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It still bugs me that we're expected to believe that Burt owns a 1 bedroom house.

But it didn't bug that Buffy could afford to buy a new cashmere pashmina every week, and had enough fancy leather to suit up the entire Folsom Street parade?

Maybe they moved after Kurt's mom died? And because they were so distraught, he thought that the basement would be good enough for Kurt?

ow!

Sorry, I hit myself in the head with all of the hand waving.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Or that a high school could do a dance number with real pouring rain?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Or that a high school could do a dance number with real pouring rain?

No less realistic than thinking that even a Broadway stage would be big enough to handle a musical number choreographed by Busby Berkeley.

Which is why Glee often feels like such an odd duck of a musical. One minute, we're in "ignore the plot, just enjoy the music" land. Next minute, we get a serious social issue as Karofsky threatens Kurt again.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am so tired of Rachel/Finn drama that I could cry real tears.

Why did New Directions get two numbers and everyone else got one? It wasn't even a mashup, it was two numbers.

Compassionately intolerant

The Hipsters number reminded me (and was surely based on) the young @ heart chorus. Watching the documentary about them had me with the same expression on my face as Puck had on his. Choke up city.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think we just saw one sample number from each of the other two teams. Last year each team supposedly did three numbers at sectionals.

Okay, but there should have been some indication of that. Something like when the Director of the DMV was talking at the end, he could have reintroduced the groups, i.e. "New Directions, singing 'I Had the Time of My Life', 'blah', and 'blah'" (hold for applause) "The Warblers, singing 'Hey Soul Sister', 'blah', and 'blah' ", Etc.
