I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I'm watching the other eps of "Outsourced" based almost entirely on P-C's recommendation. It *does* get better. Which relieves me a bit because I've been following Parvesh on Twitter for nearly a year. He's a sweet guy (and talented) and I'd like to see him on a decent show.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the RHPS episode of Glee. I mean, I feel blasphemous even admitting this on the internet, but I don't love RHPS. The changes they are making seem sort of bizarre, and I have to wonder why they even are trying - obviously if they performed the show as written there would be outraged parents all over the place - but, oh, I don't know. I'll hold judgement until I actually see it.

I sort of don't hold Glee to the same standards I hold other shows I watch to. I find that under all the inconsistent writing, wavering between not caring who they offend and then bending over backwards to be inclusive, and the absolutely insane characters there is something positively joyous at its core, and that's why I love it and will keep on watching it as long as it is on TV.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Okay, in watching the DVDs of Big Bang Theory, I am loving the show, but -- is the gag with Howard's mother screaming at him from off-camera *supposed* to be funny? It got old pretty much the second episode it was in.

t edit Okay, obviously the producers mean it to be funny, or it wouldn't still be in the show, and based on the laugh track, the audience finds it funny. But -- Jesus. I can't fucking stand it.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm not really fond of most things involving Howard. In fact, I think I'd be fine if it were just the Sheldon and Penny Show.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I love Raj too, though they've been making him more of a dick this season.

Howard just bugs the hell out of me. His mother bugs the hell of out me even more. I cringe during a lot of his scenes.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm watching the other eps of "Outsourced" based almost entirely on P-C's recommendation.

Hurrah, I have influence!

It *does* get better.

And I am right!

Which relieves me a bit because I've been following Parvesh on Twitter for nearly a year.

Oh, cool. What do you know him from? Gupta is pretty amusing. Another good line from "Jolly Vindaloo Day" was Manmeet's "Todd, we have been humiliated. Gupta may be used to it, but for us, this is quite a blow."

He's a sweet guy (and talented) and I'd like to see him on a decent show.

Yeah, I'll bet. And I saw that he's openly gay, which is apparently a first among South Asian actors on network television shows. This is a step up from playing Mr. Babalabaloo on The Suite Life of I Can't Even Type Their Fucking Names.

In fact, I think I'd be fine if it were just the Sheldon and Penny Show.

Can someone explain to me Penny's appeal? I don't get her.

I don't either. I mean, she's fine, just not thrilling. I don't get why Leonard is into her beyond the fact that she's considered hot. (I also don't really think she's all that attractive.)

ME NEITHER!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I don't find her smoking, but I can see why she's conventionally attractive.

I like her because she seems genuinely affectionate toward these guys who are pretty @@. Because she got Leonard's mother drunk, because she gave Sheldon that napkin, because she got Sheldon to sing Warm Kitty, Soft Kitty. Because even though he's creepy Howard, she tried to find him a girl to date. That stuff.
