Hey, a friend's 13-year-old son and all his friends watch reruns of the George Lopez sitcom.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure a kid that age would mean Lil Wayne when she said Weezy.
Like when my day care kids called me Uncle Jesse, giving my grammar school flashbacks, except the kids my age meant Dukes of Hazzard, not Full House.
Really? The Weezy thing didn't ping me at all. The Jeffersons Weezy ref makes sense, though it's kind of (really) assy. How does the Lil Wayne ref work?
I don't know how it works, per se, but he's definitely called that.
I'm sure the writers mean it as a Jeffersons reference.

Sure, but what makes it work in reference to Mercedes? That's where it falls apart for me.
(Also, Weezy's kind of awesome. So it might not be meant that way but not the worst thing to be called.)
Anybody ever watch Code Monkeys? I'm trying to figure out what the design on Dave's shirt is supposed to be.

Oh, I don't think that's actually what the writers meant, just what actual teens would mean.
The circulars for tomorrow's papers are already advertising Glee's "Rocky Horror" soundtrack. I'm wondering who's going to take on Dr. Frank-N-Furter, because I'm not sure any of the kids (or at least their characters) has the outrageous flamboyance to be able to handle it.

it's going to have to be Kurt, but it would amuse me to no end if it were Schu.
with pillow lips as rocky, of course.
