I really think Michael's character is starting to fall apart, in an intentional way.
Comedy 1: A Little Song, a Little Dance, a Little Seltzer Down Your Pants

Ugly Betty:
Aw, that last scene! With "Defying Gravity"! Man, this show knows exactly how to push my buttons.
Did anyone else just want to smack Daniel every time he tried to "protect" Betty from Henry? I'm glad she finally told him that he was being manipulative, even though I'm not sure the message sunk in.
I'm so happy to have the old Justin back! I missed the swish. Love that kid.
The Office:
I'm glad we got an episode with Karen, who was totally awesome in this one. I was a little surprised, in a good way, to see how immature and uncomfortable Jim was around her. I would have expected to see him own up to the prank right away and try to smooth things over, but instead he made things worse. It was a good reminder of the fact that he can still be kind of a dick sometimes. Watching him get the smackdown in the Finer Things Club was also pretty funny; I'm guessing that was his last meeting.

All I could think was, "About TIME!!!"

YES!
Relatedly, I couldn't help thinking that a writer for Ugly Betty must lurk here. (Because, y'know, Nico getting bitten by a monkey and having to be quarantined?)

So much so, but I wanted to smack Betty even more when she looked like she was going to listen to him.
Pushing Daisies There's something about it that's soporific for me. I can't get through an episode without falling asleep at least twice, which means I'm about 3 weeks behind. I can't figure out what it is, if it's the music or Jim Dale's voice, or what.
Kristin Chenowith is SO good, as is Chi McBride, Swoozie Kurtz, well, everyone really, but especially them.

Kevin, that makes sense. Because the writers are writing themselves into a trap. The show is supposed to be relatively realistic, at least for a network sitcom. But I don't see how any company could look at what Michael did at Utica and let him keep his job. Ditto Dwight, though his sales record might give him a ghost of a chance. Ditto Jim, unless he could convince the powers that be that he really was quasi-kidnapped and actually talked the others out of wreaking even more havoc than they did.
I'm probably going to need to cross post this, but y'all know what's available on iTunes right now?
Season One of WKRP!
Wrong season but I can never resist the urge to shout
As God is my witness I thought turkeys could fly!

Heh, it doesn't put me to sleep at all but i find that i have to record it because i want to watch it at least twice in a row, there's just so many great little bits that i miss the first time.
Maybe more pie would help? :)
