I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

In introduced my dad to The Guild last year. He genuinely likes it although he doesn't watch it on his own as much. It's become a father-daughter activity. So today he asked if we could catch up and we did. We both feel the season's getting off to a slow start. Not quite as many laughs. The "Game On" video was probably the most entertaining. (Although there are certainly moments in the new season. Zaboo saying "press the button" being one of them.)

We also watched a little Legend of Neil. Which is also getting off to a rough start, in my opinion. I figure both The Guild and Legend of Neil are trying new things. New locations, new effects, etc. And there are bound to be some stumbles while doing that.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Zaboo saying "press the button" being one of them.

Which was a Sandeep Parikh improv.

I was wondering whether it was! I'm behind on my Knights of the Guild listening so I've missed out on the background info.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention how shocked I was when my father said "Bollywood" at the start of "Game On". I had no idea he knew anything about B'wood, even the term. I remember trying to get him and my mom to watch "Lagaan" with me but I can't remember whether I followed through with that.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I wish I had an mp3 of Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Siegel singing Les Miserables.

I am thrilled that Modern Family won the Best Comedy emmy! I was really worried that Glee might get it. And while Glee is a fun show, it's not best anything! Both the acting and the writing make me cringe at times.

And go Jim Parsons!!

"Rescue Me" is usually thought of as a drama but it can really make me laugh. I just had a nice belly laugh while watching some of the usual "I can't believe guys are this gross" stuff at the firehouse and I really needed to laugh.
