It's an AP story. Like sumi said, it's all over the internets.
Andrew Breitbart is the asswipe who destroyed Acorn and just got a Federal employee fired, by deceptively editing videos.
When I post a link to a story, I always take the time to find a place that has it that won't use the page views to promote evil. I simply wanted to encourage others to do the same. Sorry if I came across all stompy like.
No, I take the point. And if I'd stumbled across it elsewhere I'd have posted that link. I just wasn't paying that much attention (can I blame caffeine deprivation?).
Can I have a non-asshole link or clue where to look? I hadn't realized Breitbart was the same guy who destroyed Acorn. My fury on that front shall burn forever. People are stupid, and people are malicious, but those who manipulate the stupid for malicious ends? Special hell. Really super special.
not that Obama is stupid, but dammit. Due diligence, people.
smonster, Wonkette has a good, snarky intro to the current misery.
And here's Wonkette's follow-up and Ta-Nehisi Coates also has some great, scathing commentary.
No no, I mean, what's the Glee thing? But those are good links to have, love TNC and don't remember to go to his blog all the time.
Here's ABC News on the Glee thing: [link]
Oops; clearly you can see what I've been obsessing over for the last few hours!
JZ, and rightly so. I just shared your link on fb.
On the Glee link: Oh, the ways in which the culture around beauty is effed up, and across cultures. I wonder if it was sold to her as the American thing to do.
Random Glee question -- why do the Cheerios wear their uniforms every single day? In my high school the cheerleaders only wore them on the days we that they had pep rallies. Even Cordelia Chase didn't wear hers five days a week.
Nice article on Mike O'Malley, who plays Kurt's dad on Glee
