Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Oh good lord, that was hilarious. How the heck did they think that number in front of the librarian and a few studious nerds would be scandalous in comparison to the Glee Club rendition of "Push It" in front of the whole school at assembly?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Sue and her sister just make me want to cry. I hate Sue, but she so honestly loves her sister and then I like her. Not fair!

I'm so glad Sue's sister got more screen time. I'm glad Emma grew a spine, even if Sue was the catalyst.

I honestly do not remember ever hearing Run, Joey, Run before, but the other songs...I knew every lyric. Oy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love that Shue (the character, if not the actor) has to be just my age -- his cheesy-ass favorites are mine, too!

Kind of a lot of people, as it turns out.

I know, right??

My first thought when I heard the Bonnie Tyler was, "This song isn't bad enough to need to be redeemed." Then I remembered the video. The literal version is great. [link]
