You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I love Holland Taylor and more than a little bit I want to be her when I grow up.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I remember her from Bosom Buddies, but really became fond of her on that show she did with Tea Leoni.

I miss Tea Leoni on my TV.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

They tended to play the same kind of characters: smart, patrician, a bit icy, slightly dangerous.

More than slightly in the case of Play Misty for Me.

Her imdb listings from the 70s is like a cop/detective show history lesson.

I miss her, period. Apart from Flirting with Disaster, her film career has been pretty meh.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

She's good in Ghost Town, which I recommend.

Always Anti-fascist!

That show was good....even though the name escapes me. Jessica Walter could have also played the Grandma part on "Gilmore Girls"(I have no idea if this is literally true...I only know Entourage/AU Hollywood that well) but that is one part where two very different actors...Walter and Kelly Bishop, sort of remind me of each other.

I used to work for this incredibly stiff partner -- the kind of Yalie who, upon meeting my husband, almost immediately asked where he went to school-- who must have been a big theater fan. He had a huge signed cast photo of some show starring Jessica Walter. I always laughed walking into his office about the Seaward staring at him all day.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I miss Tea Leoni

Earlier this week, I stumbled across the last half hour of Deep Impact while channel-surfing. Pesonally, I think her performance is the weakest of the entire ensemble--I much prefer watching Vanessa Redgrave or Omar Sharif during her family angst scenes.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Tea was always a much better at comedy than drama.
