I loved the throwaway line "If having sex means you're dating, then Santana and I are dating" PAUSE.

yes, LOVE. But I thought it was If Sexting means..
I thought Santana said "Having sex isn't dating"
I thought it was Sexting, but I don't have it recorded anymore, so I can't go check.
Huh. I'll have to check. On another note, I find it hard to believe that Rachel would tell Finn about Quinn right before sectionals. She would know how much it would upset him, and how could she not consider that. I would think that her desire to win would supercede everything else.
I thought Santana said "Having sex isn't dating"
What Vortex said.
Nope, Vortex is on the money on this one.
Mercedes (I think?) said to Santana, "I thought you'd be mad because you and Puck are dating." Santana responded, "Having sex isn't dating." Brittany added, "If having sex means you're dating, than Santana and I are dating." [PAUSE] Which made me crack up. I hope that Santana gets more of a storyline in the spring.
Loved their pissed-off faces while they were watching the halfway house do "Proud Mary." And I was laughing throughout the judges' conversation--from the little ID graphics ("5th Place 2002 Miss Ohio") to the vice comptroller bitching about having her boss make her fill in for him. The whole ep was very funny, even with the big dramatic reveal of Puck being the daddy, Ken dumping Emma, and Shue finally deciding to leave Terri.
That's even better, then!
Vortex,
I find it hard to believe that Rachel would tell Finn about Quinn right before sectionals. She would know how much it would upset him, and how could she not consider that. I would think that her desire to win would supercede everything else.
I think Rachel was on the side of: stress is fucking Finn up, so I'm not sure this news would exactly be worse. She's pretty self-centered so I think it was exactly as she said to Quinn later - that she thought Finn would go for her after finding out about Quinn. Which he may do.
I don't really like how they do the parallel thing between the "adults" and the "teens", but make sure that one couple has a different outcome than the other. I ultimately don't really care if any of them get together or not (however, I discovered at the end of last night's episode that I really want Shue and Mays' character to get together in all their dysfunction).
And yes: Brittany and Santana are having sex.
