Compassionately intolerant

Hulu is your friend megan. That's where I've seen all the eps of MF.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

which, BTW, I like way more than I thought I would

Me, too. I also like Modern Family quite a bit. They both were promoted to make me think I wouldn't like them, sadly. Glad I gave them a chance.

And, yet, not sorry that I'm not giving a chance to so many others.

Unfortunately my connection at home does not always work so well for video, Hulu in particular, but I will try.

I decided to give Cougar Town one episode, and then I saw that it had the kid from Aliens in America and Christa Miller, and I was hooked.

I decided to watch it because Bill Lawrence created it and I loved Scrubs. And then it was just as convenient to record Modern Family right before, and someone at BBC had said it was the best new show on US TV or something, so why not? And they both turned out to be much better than I expected.

Speaking of Cougar Town, is Busy Phillips playing a "cougar"? She seems a little young....

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I tried them both and dislike them both. I was already prejudiced against Cougartown when I found out that they had to use a stunt stomach for Courtney Cox because hers looked too good. But, I saw a short scene where a young woman pinches Courtney and she turns around, surprised. The young woman says "oh, I'm sorry, i thought you were my roommate" Courtney says "you thought I had a college ass? Come here and let me give you a hug!" I just thought that was stupid.

Is she the blonde? If so, she's CC's young assistant.

Yes, she's the blonde. I am glad to hear she is has not all of the sudden rapidly aged! Plus, there are plenty of women that are cougar age who want a job.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Busy was on HIMYM a couple seasons ago - as date worthy babe. She and Danica McKellar "rode the tricycle" with Ted.

Thank you Barney, for being so insufferably smug in the first two minutes of the show that you made the choice between watching HIMYM and To Wong Fu, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar for me.
