Madonna has granted rights to "Glee" of her full catalogue.
Oh, wow. That opens up some great possibilities.
Every time Mr. Schu busts out with the 90's hip hop, I have to watch from between my fingers. I find it excruciating, but then I think we're supposed to. And yet I still found myself rapping along with "Bust a Move."
Sue *is* Rachel in like 20 years.
Indeed.
If I were still on LJ I would totally be making an icon of Sue in a zoot suit RIGHT NOW.
Loved the whole Puck and Rachel thing. I think I'm finally going to have to break down and buy the Glee version of "Sweet Caroline" from iTunes.
I *love* the 90s hip hop. I'm very entertained. I will be greatly disappointed if they don't do Stevie B.

I want them to go back further. I want to see Tina go old skool Blondie and do "Rapture."

If they do Blondie, they gotta do "Heart of Glass" - bar none my favorite Blondie song. I actually don't care for "Rapture" at all. So I'd rather they do "Tide Is High" if they can't get rights to HoG.
Oh, I'd love Tide is High, which is easily MY fave Blondie song. But somehow, I can see Tina doing Rapture.

But what's so perfect is that the bad 90s hip-hop is 100% in-character. Mr. Shue is just reliving his high school years, and still thinks it's awesome! (I appreciate this because that is the music of my youth as well, and I still think it's awesome, too. So there.)
I mean, not that Blondie wouldn't be great.
I love Hulu.
Watching the episode again has me grinning like a loon. I'd love to have them do Blondie, don't care which song (though once upon a time I knew all of Rapture).
