You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

yep, not my favorite HIMYM but Big Bang Theory was kinda awesome. The special guest entomologist was a wonderful surprise.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I thought it did what HIMYM does very well, which is Get It Right. I am Ted Mosby.

Yeah, there is also that. The Girl and I are Lily and Marshall (but we're never sure who's who), even when we really don't want to be.

Ah, I'd forgotten that The Big Bang Theory was on Mondays too (four of the five things I'm watching are airing on the same night). Must remember to ahem.

Hee--TWOP has a bit on where the characters from Glee will be in 20 years. This is perfect:

Kurt Hummel -- Now: This gay student recently came out of the closet, but he also became kicker for the football team. Hopefully that will keep him from constantly getting stuffed in the dumpster.

20 years from now: Following in the fabulous footsteps of his mentor Simon Doonan, Kurt has made quite the splash designing windows at top department stores. His signature scent never took off, but his football experience helped him win over his boyfriend, who plays professional football for the Jets.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Dear Santa -

I have been a good girl this year, even if it has been a light year of fic reading and writing for me.

However.

If you would be so kind as to give all of my presents to Dana so that she would write a scene of the 20th class reunion in which Kurt's pro-football boyfriend kicks the crap out of mohawk football guy (or at least gets in his face), that would be ACES.

Thanks ever so much!!

Love,
Aimee

Finn. You are an asshat. Bad (typical) teenage boy!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Plus, he is indeed freakishly tall.

Total gratuitous Chenowith tonight but i still loved it. That show makes me smile, even with the outlandish ridonculousness.

Kristin Chenoweth is in Glee? Regularly, or as a guest star?

I may have to start watching.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Guest star last night, though I could totally see her coming back to help Rachel reach inside and find her inner blowsy alcoholic.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Is anybody watching Community? I saw the first two episodes last night and LOVED IT. So funny. Senor Chang rocks my socks.

Senor Chang rocks my socks.

I am also enjoying Senor Chang. Back in Minnesota, my 9th grade German class was taught by Herr Chung, a native of Korea. This was an odd situation, both for Herr Chung, who had been unable to find a job teaching one of the three Asian languages he spoke fluently and was reduced to a position using his fairly basic knowledge of German, and to the students, who had grown up around German and Norwegian speaking grandparents and therefore found Herr Chung's pronunciation of umlauted vowels somewhat inscrutable. Senior Chang's classroom brings back the memories.
