"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I continue to love The Big Bang Theory.

Sheldon's mother: as weird and forthright a woman as ever.

"You know, at our church, we have a woman who's an amazing healer. Mostly she does crutch and wheelchair people, but I bet she'd be willing to take a shot at whatever third world demon is running around inside of you."

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Sheldon's mother: as weird and forthright a woman as ever.

that's Laurie Metcalf! Has she been on the show before? I love her.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Has she been on the show before?

Just once before, I think. She's fab.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Oh, I forgot the other logical fallacy of Glee that annoyed me: The offense can't hold the line long enough to keep the quarterback from being sacked, but they can hold it long enough for Kirk to do his whole dance?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

They were loosened up! They were pumped that they could *actually* win a game! It was a Friday Night Lights MIRACLE!!!

They should film it and show it every year at Homecoming.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Bwah, Aims! Also, I think the other team was supposed to be shocked and unable to move, you know, until the number was over.

I think that the anvil that we're trying not to be hit by is that when she sings, she has confidence, but not in "real life"

Sure, but the West Side Story performance she gave was tentative. And she was all wrought with giving it up for the teamness and imposter syndrome immediately afterwards. Harumph.

ALSO! WTF was lead chick doing complaining about getting the alto line? Anita's part is the best song in that show! Freaking sopranos.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Anita's part is the best song in that show! Freaking sopranos.

Hee. "A BOY LIKE THAT! COULD KILL YOUR BROTHER!"

It's not like Rachel is really a soprano anyway. I mean, she's got the range, but she's more the belty type. I'm sure Tina's got the range too.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

"A BOY LIKE THAT! WANTS ONE THING ONLY! AND WHEN HE'S THROUGH! HE'LL LEAVE YOU LONELY!"

And right? Rachel's totally a belter.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Took a day or two to get to The Office. The A-story felt like a set-up for the season's mayhem. This will not end well. "We're taking over Buffalo's workload" is a great explanation for keeping the two extra salespeople, though it would have been nice to add a transfer from Buffalo to the cast. Or maybe not -- the cast is pretty big already.

And I thought Toby had more sense than that.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I found HIMYM a bit dull this week. Watchable, but lacking the laughs and randomness of last week's. Although the doppelgangers thing was great.
