Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

It's one of the best HIMYM's they've done, I think. I watched it with a friend, we nearly wee'd ourselves laughing.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's fantastic. Somebody is very clever.

Oh, god. I didn't get that until Dana's post.

OK, I think I'm done with HIMYM. This one is just too much. They've even managed to ruin a Frances Conroy guest shot for me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That's who that was!

What was too much about it? I thought it was great.

Me too. We had a TiVo conflict awhile back and we decided Gossip Girl was better; tonight it was a repeat so we got HIMYM. I thought it was better than most of what we got earlier in the season. Although I agree that Conroy was off.

The storyline took Barney to a level of ridiculousness normally reserved for cartoon characters and Muppets. I like Neil Patrick Harris, but Barney is dead to me from this point onward.

What is even happening?

Matt, I'm not done with it, but I couldn't buy into the premise for a minute, so I never got into it. I laughed at all the appropriate parts because the cast is pretty good (although JR remains the weak link for me), but it was just too too.
