Funny thing about black and white. You mix it together and you get gray. And it doesn't matter how much white you try and put back in, you're never gonna get anything but gray.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I guess I would have appreciated it more if I'd ever seen Night Court.

Ann, that's a ferret.

You've never seen Night Court? Correct that right away! (Disclaimer: Everyone else in my law school class wanted to grow up to be one of the lawyers on L.A. Law. I wanted to grow up to be Harry Stone.)

As for The Office: That was more like it. Abounding cluelessness from Michael, with bonus cluelessness from Andy. Underused characters (Kelly, Oscar) get the spotlight. A couple of unexpected moments -- I hadn't guessed that Kelly's relationship with Darryl existed mainly in Kelly's mind.

Now, if I could only figure out a reason to bring Ryan back permanently that doesn't involve the actor being a major player on the writing/producing side of the show.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I liked the Jennifer Aniston parts a lot more than the Night Courts parts, although Kenneth's speech (followed by the group hug) and closing-credits freeze-frame thing were incredibly funny. He was all over the slapstick in the episode, actually, because his little dance that turns into tears near the beginning was also hilarious.

What is even happening?

(Jesse, are you a woo girl?)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

God, no. Dude, seriously?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I don't even know what a woo girl is. But I can't imagine Jesse going "woo." She's more of a "huh" girl.

It's actually funny how I use so many exclamation points on line.

But anyway, you'll see the woo girls on HIMYM.

It was the cowgirl hats that made me ask.
