Punishingly Intricate

I don't know. Maybe I was expecting too much but it came off as kind of more rote sitcom to me. Like, if Stella really had an allergy that severe she wouldn't have mentioned it to someone making her food??? That just seems like the kind of intentional withholding of information leading to "hilarious" consequences thing that any old sitcome would do. I expect more from HIMYM.

yeah. I handwaved it because pesto doesn't usually use peanuts and that's why it didn't come up.

What is even happening?

End tag: our favorite five are at MacLaren's, laughing and talking.

Wait, what? I DID NOT GET AN END TAG. WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?

I don't know if it was 10 seconds long. You don't hear anything they're talking about. It's quite similar to the "Rhinoceros" flashback when Barney let's Lily know he's onto her code word, except this time the code word is "Chimichanga." That's pretty much it. It almost felt like it got cut.

It was a little too convenient -- but like Vortex, I just handwaved it. I thought NPH and AH were brilliant together. They made the show for me. I really like Sarah Chalke on this show. She's everything on HIMYM that Elliot could have been on Scrubs.
