All we have is cheap gin and cherry pepsi
What an appalling thought.
I have a lot of work to do that I should have done during the week, but I was the Queen of Not Accomplishing Anything. One problem with working for yourself is that it's easier to not work. At least I'm not tempted to go out. It's already 85 with 60% humidity. I was listening to the garden show that's on the radio Saturdays and it was all "Yes you can prune that holly, but not today. Don't go outside! Save yourselves!"
Good morning bitches. I am having lunchables for breakfast. I feel like I'm eight years old.
eta: don't worry Ginger. I did not attempt to mix the gin and cherry pepsi. I had a glass of water and went to bed.
I'm easy but I'm not cheap.
One of the reasons we love you.
I'm easy but I'm not cheap.
I'm not easy. I'm effortless.
That lolcat is adorable. I keep wondering when I won't think they're funny anymore. Hasn't happened yet.
Timelies, Bitches. I had a restless night of sleep and woke up too late to go to the farmers' market. Phooey. Luckily there's one tomorrow morning in a different part of town. Actually, there's one pretty much every day of the week somewhere around here. Year round. I really love living in Pasadena.

On behalf of the communities of Lakewood and Redondo Beach I say, "phlbbt!"
You aren't going to get much sympathy from many communities out of SoCal, though! I can count on one hand the number of times I went to a farmers' market in CT.
I used to go to the one in Wheaton Il all the time (in the summertime) with me ma. I know there is at least one in Lakewood and at least three in Redondo, Manhattan &/or Hermosa Beach but I never seem to make it to any of them. Every year I say I'm going to find myself some squash blossoms and every year I fail to make an effort to realize that notion.
There's a small farmers market in my neighborhood every Wednesday afternoon, and a bigger one in Dupont Circle (a bit less than a mile walk, I think) every Sunday morning. I think there's one just about every day somewhere in the DC area, but those are the only two that I can get to reasonably.
