I'd feel the same, but OTOH if you made the common mistakes, the blog will probably give hints as to how to fix them.
Good point. I'm looking forward to reading the post. I already have a list of several things I could have done better. I'm sure I can apply the lessons to the next submission. The company says they want to do at least one open call a year. Plus this has helped kick start my creativity, so I'll be looking for other things to submit until then.
Orange, Meara, or maybe a chocolate brown or a khaki.
Well crap Sean. I'll play it, if you want to run it on FG.
We'll get this arranged for sure.
I've been reading the other rejected submissions that people have posted, and I can only imagine how good the good stuff was. I'm in very good company with the rejects. I do not envy the editors the job they had winnowing these down.
t looks at own IKEA couch
Sort of a tomato red? I think it looks good with a khaki, or even sort of a 70's Harvest Gold.
That reminds me, I need to get a copy of FG.
I miss B.org all day and jump in just in time to catch the Bible translated into Lolcat.
Why do you hate me?
What goes with red couches?
We have a red couch and honey colored walls. It's a nice combo.
For my straight readers: – are you “out” as an ally?
:: waves hand ::
Hi, that's me. I'm a straight guy, but have tons o friends who are other than straight, of both genders. And yes, I've had lengthy discussions on the topic with narrowminded people... sad to say even at Thanksgiving dinner (sad cuz it's like rule #1 for T-day, and sad because the bulk of my family falls in that "narrowminded people" category). And yes, I sign the petitions for HRC too. :)

(er, or should that be /pflag waiving ;¬)
Yikes. When I've got a condition whose symptoms include depression and "mental fog" is really a bad time to read Allen Ginsberg. Or possibly a really good time, but while the effect is certainly interesting, it's not quite what I needed tonight.
Need to find something to read that will not cause crying or freaky imagery.
Hil, back
away
from the Ginsberg.
