'Underneath'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

My day has improved substantially since I doodled KILL KILL KILL while talking to help desk. My homicidal impulses have faded quite a bit.
Omnis, even though you're not thinking about it now, you might want to check on the HP ipaq, the Nokia 880, or the Nokia 770. I have the 770 because it's cheaper, but it's cool. Surf the web, check e-mail, write notes, linux based. The ipaq allows the same, plus has a lot of Microsoft programs like Word and Excel mobile. The price difference is large enough to notice, but if you don't want a new phone, you might consider one of them--they're all at tiger direct with good descriptions, along with the various GPS models and other kinds of handhelds.
Oh! I loved my HP iPaq. I used to take notes on it at school, with the little fold-up keyboard.
In Toto picspam...
My mom is crashing at my place tonight, because her flight home from my aunt's funeral doesn't get in till after midnight. So, I made up the futon for her to sleep on. Now, this is Toto's spot where he hangs pretty much all the time when he's not in his bed. So, having it made up as a bed is very confusing.
Note that he is sitting in the exact same spot as he would be sitting if the futon was set up as a couch: [link]
And new dishes and new cutlery and and and...okay I could totally go overboard with this "re-doing" thing.
Heh. This is pretty much my entire thought on getting a new apartment. I'm like "OK, so I'll get new bookshelves, that match each other. And a bedframe. And I'll need a table. And new knives. And maybe dishes. And a matching set of glasses. And and and...." I could spend myself silly, I could!
I just read an e-mail that made me very happy and basically convinces me that yes, indeed, I DO have a girlfriend
congrats, gris!!
Eating apples, cheese, and crackers for dinner for the past four nights isn't horribly bad for me, is it? Some cheddar, some manchego, adn some gouda, with honeycrisps, and wheat crackers....nothing else appeals. Though, mmm....salmonella schalmonella, a pot pie sounds yummy now. I don't HAVE one, but I suppose I could GET one. And bake it. Meh, maybe no pot pie.
Stich n Pitch sounds awesome! Maybe next year...it does say it started in Seattle!
congrats, gris!!
Thanks!

Maybe, but it's delicious. Mmm. Cheese. If you like cheese, you must eat at this place if you're ever in NYC. So. Good. I died. Of goodness. Then i came back to life, in time for more goodness. It was... good.
Okay, here's the situation --
Manager A asks B to work on Friday and Saturday. B says "maybe", A puts B on the schedule a week ago with "maybe". yesterday, B tells A that they can't work Friday and can only work Saturday night. A now says that B needs to find someone to cover.
I think that this is A's responsibility, since B was a maybe, but I said I'd ask the internet masses.
I agree, it's up to A to cover the schedule. Maybe implies maybe not.
Also, dinners of apples, cheese and crackers sound both delightful and nutritious.
Yes if B never gave a definitive "yes" it is A's responsiblity to cover the shift. However, if I was B I would still make an effort to cover the shift in order to stay on good terms with A.
