Glory ,'The Killer In Me'

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, that's a nice bonus, Toddson. Thanks!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Watch out for pot pies. There's a country-wide slamonella outbreak linked to Banquet and Con-Agra pot pies.

gronk.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

That bag looks very GC.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

The hospital that Dad is in is close to my office, so, since I hadn't heard from him, I drove over there a little bit ago. He had an angiogram to see what was going on, and it turns out that he had a blood clot, and that's what caused the heart attack.

He was still in the recovery area, and hadn't had a follow-up discussion with his cardiologist, so I can't say this for sure, but it's possible that putting the stent in his blocked vein on Monday led to a clot getting loose and travelling. Fortunately (EXTREMELY so) it didn't result in a stroke or death.

He *will* be having a follow-up discussion with his cardiologist at some point today, so he'll get all the facts eventually.

Short version: he's good. Still in hospital, probably will get to go home tomorrow.

Shorter version: fuck Superman; *my Dad* is the man of steel.

Glad to hear that Steph.

brillig

putting the stent in his blocked vein on Monday led to a clot getting loose and travelling.

VERY common occurrence, Teppy. Also, if he's taking drugs to reduce clotting and cholesterol, plaque deposits could be breaking up as well. That triggered several of Hubby's attacks. He dropped his cholesterol hundreds of points, and all the happily attached cholesterol chunks started migrating and looking for places to cause trouble.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Woo hoo! Go Dad of Tep!
