I'm mainly just beating myself up for another sin of omission.
Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
My Dad was scheduled to have another angiogram this morning to see whatintheHELL is going on in his Velveeta-laden cardiovascular system. When I talked to him last night, he didn't know when exactly it was going to take place, but he was assuming pretty early.
So now I'm just waiting for him to be done and call me and tell me that everything is all right. I'm just impatient and a wee bit massively stressed.
Guys just came and measured our bathroom! We are finalizing on Saturday and they'll be starting the job within a week!
So exciting!!! I wish I was getting my bathrooms done. WANT WANT WANT!
t shameless Did you see the new stuff we're putting in? [link] t /shameless
I don't know what to do with myself today. I have no work to do, and my brain is occupying itself by thinking up dumb stuff to be stressed out about. It's gray and cold outside, so I don't particularly want to go outside either.
Did you see the new stuff we're putting in?
yes. Am V. V. Jealous!! I love the color of the tile.
I can't wait to pick stuff for my kitchen!!! Although I won't be getting exciting new appliances. Except maybe I'll get a dishwasher.
Really I just can't wait to get rid of the drop ceiling and the ugly paneling (which I'd painted over a pretty, bright yellow but it's still paneling under there). ah old b'more rowhome ownership!

Sneak off to a bar?
Oooh, new kitchen! Pictures? Our plan is to do both bathrooms ASAP, and then start planning on the kitchen. Our place was built in the 70s and not much has changed since then. When we moved in, we put in new flooring, painted every room in the house, and bought new furniture and some new kitchen appliances. All the serious stuff now has to be done. Then we're going to buy a house and move! Craziness.
Heck, I think, "No one suffered serious injury!" is a serious accomplishment in some classrooms.
In my tutoring seminar yesterday, my prof was reporting on our first tutoring logs. Her first remark was, “Just so you know, no one has ever died while tutoring or being tutored, so you can all start breathing again.”
Oh, Ginger. I’m so sorry, you. Strength to you.

I don’t blame you one bit. Strength to you too.

Shall I come steal you for a coffee trip at 1 or 1:30? I’m at school till 12:30, and I don’t have to be at therapy till 3, so I’ve got some time and would love a coffee break with you!
My last class was A for Adorable. They made me all proud and shit.
Sneak off to a bar?
Christ, I wish. (eyes CBC from not-to-afar)

Sure, that sounds good! I will email you my work #, so that you can call me when you're approaching? Where shall we meet? There's a Starbucks in the Marriott lobby, the ABP, or the Cosi...?
