Have you ever been with a warrior woman?

Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're home-ish. We're headed to Mom's for dinner now.

Sean, thanks for mentioning Boondocks. I'll have to set my DVR.

Hey. New board.

{Teppy}

vw: Aren't students silly?

P-C: Good luck with #5. By far the best relationship I've ever had was with a girl whose spelling and grammar on anything internet-related was... horrific. It can happen.

vw: Aren't students silly?

Yeah. Some of them really are. Then there are the ones that break your heart.

Hey. New board.

I tend to find that it's the same students. Sigh.

Yeah, that's very true sometimes.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Not really, my marking pen is purple, it's less pejorative that way, I think.

I favour glitter gel pens in a variety of colours (and, occasionally, scents). 'Course, my kids are six, and our marking policy is about as unpurjorative as it's possible to be - we follow the '2 stars and a wish' approach.

(You draw a wee star, and then note something GOOD about the work. And again. [and perhaps again and again, depending.] Then a wee magic wand, and note something that would help their next piece of work be better.)

So, this morning I am experimenting with brown contact lenses. They are not all that comfortable, and I suspect I'll have to take them out pretty soon. Still, I'm very taken with the idea of having wildly different coloured eyes. (They didn't have purple or turquoise in the shop, sadly.)

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

At this point in time, spelling or poor use of apostrophes is not grounds for saying " no thanks" . you all know I can't spell ( Thank you , Firefox!) and my typing is pretty poor as well. If I post, or send an email without rereading there is only a 50/50 chance that it makes sense. And I know I have a brain in my head. I started to read almost instantly - I skipped the concept of phonics and went to reading whole sentences right away. Plus my writing/typing has never been fast enough for my thoughts, so I skip words. Oddly, my mom's emails look a lot like mine. Anyway, I can write well, but it takes a lot of concentration and work. So it doesn't happen very often.

and as for liking something that is not ....umm... good. I think there have to be one or two places where you look at your spouse and go WTF? DH does that when he sees me reading romance novels - and I do it every time he gets that look of glee when he talks about some political rant that agrees with him 100%. ( Rants about politics without a hint of solution - do nothing for me)

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

and in other stuff - Susan sounds like you boss will be good - she is trying to come up with solutions in your convoluted work place.

and hope Dad is home safe and sound soon, Steph.

My sister is in the Navy. - She had been gone for awhile - got home - and the phone rang. She ran across the kitchen - and found that the refrigerator had defrosted while she was gone. She flew across the kitchen and hit her face on the frige and knocked her self out ( briefly). The next day, not one person, including her boss asked her about her batter and bruised face. It is amazing what people can ignore.

I hope I would have asked if I could do anything to help.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I got a tacklehug! whee!

I'm not only incapable of spelling number with the pound symbol, I can't spell okay with only two letters.
