Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Ooh, I like cold and rainy beaches! Well, maybe drizzly beaches. Rainy is sorta hard. But I think it's just because on beaches that are not cold and rainy, I sunburn too easily. :)

YAY for having a recruiter for this job--I talked to her after, and told her what they said, and told her I really liked them, and she emailed them and asked for feedback, and they said "EXCELLENT" (all in caps!) and that they're asking HR to arrange an in person interview ASAP. WHOOT!

Apparently when the interviewers asked him if he had any questions for them he said, "no."

Oops. Though every once in a while, when it's been more of a give-and-take interview, I have a hard time coming up wtih something new at the end (or if it's the fifteenth person I've talked to there), but still! Read an interviewing book, man!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yayayayayay! They see the wonderfulness that is meara.

Trust my rage

That sounds glorious, a reason to bundle up and listen to the surf.

This is so me!! I love the cold and rainy beach and hate hate hate hot and sunny beaches. Sweat and sand are not a good combo for me.

Wrod. I never really liked the beach until I went to the beach in northern England. Rocks to climb over! Not hot! Ruins! Brisk and bracing! And apparently I picked up lots of exclamation points there too!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Sometimes when I'm interviewing a good half my brain is actually occupied with thinking up questions I can ask when it gets to that point.

Go meara!

I want these boots [link]

Ooh, want.

But can not have, since in the process of packing I just packed up an entire large box just of boots.

Ooh, those are cute (but pricey!). Now I want it to be fall so I can wear gorgeous boots and pretty cashmere sweaters. Possibly after discarding half my wardrobe and moving to a new city. :)

I have to go to a party in a couple hours. I need to WAKE UP first. Eesh. I slept in. I had caffeine. What more does my body WANT?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

The sad thing about the asshat is that chances are good he doesn't really want a job. Hell if I could get someone to go to work and pay all my expenses while I stayed home and "learned about America" on the computer I sure would.

And far, far away from 97 degree Utah.

Though I concede the wretched weather crown to elsewhere, because I know what the humidity does with it's that hot and the utter hell of hot, muggy nights. With a fan in our window at nights, I need a blanket. The desert has its advantages.
