It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Happy Birthday, Omnis!

Thanks, JZ. I had tons of fun taking my pictures. Wish I wouldn't get so many fuzzy ones; don't know how much of that is user error vs poor camera. I'm looking forward to the next one, and maybe will figure out the lj thing by then.

{{{askye}}} That really stinks. Hope your day has been better than your morning.

I have only one more full day here tomorrow, and then I return home. I'm really sad about that, actually. It's been a nice trip, overall. Wish I could have done more for my dad, but hopefully it's been at least good morale wise.

Happy birthday to omnis! Also belated happies to Jen!

Coffee needs to be done now. I'm waiting for the plumber - this will be his third visit in less than two weeks. Thank God we're starting the remodel because every time I turn around, something breaks. All of a sudden, the place is falling apart!

Happy birthday, omnis!

askye, I'm sorry your day began in such a craptastic way. But I have to join the chorus of "please wear your seatbelt." Sox and I had a brilliant cousin who would still be here today had he been wearing one, and it makes me sad to think how she missed out on getting to know him as well as I did. Don't make me come down there and buckle you in!

I need to go back and look at d's pictures... How's your dad? Improving a little every day, I hope?

Cash, I am with you in the corner of new house, moving, who-the-hell-do-I-call-next-yness. We need a cappuccino machine in this corner.

Happy Birthday, Omnis!

It must have been universal insomnia night. Even with Ambien, I was still hyper-awake enough to solve the question of world peace, if it hadn't been 3 a.m.

every time I turn around, something breaks.

That pretty much describes my homeowning experiences.

The mummy hand slipped down over my fingers last night and it's screwing with my typing. I get rewrapped ths afternoon.

We picked out some stuff for the little bathroom remodel! [link]

Thrive to spite them

I definitly should have been wearing my seat belt andnormally I do. I was pulled over right near my house, I just hadn't put it on. I should really know better becuase I was in a car accident as a teenager and the car flipped (going at very low rate of speed) and having the seat belt on saved me from being thrown from the car.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

GC - is this the bathroom by the kitchen/office?

Yep. The tiny, nasty bathroom. It's hard to imagine it being pretty.

I never felt it was nasty when I used it! But yay remodeling!
