On my seventh birthday, I wanted a toy fire truck, and I didn't get it, and you were real nice about it, and then the house next door burnt down, and then real firetrucks came, and for years I thought you set the fire for me. And if you did, you can tell me!

And getting serious about cleaning out the fridge.

When you're done, could you come do mine? I think I have 4 half-gallons of milk in there, and I'm guessing none of them are good anymore.

Thrive to spite them

I have some pots I pushed in there because I couldn't find any storage containers so they need to be washed.

I'd rather clean out someone else's fridge rather than mine.

Isn't that always the truth!

Also, omnis, I'm ignoring you, because you're rooting for the Yankees. Just so you know there's a reason :).

I have that effect on women
because you're rooting for the Yankees.
Ooo, not the typical reason! ;-)

Sad to see the sox might pull it out. It's a double whammy. 1) As a Yanks fan, never wanna see the Sox win (sorry VW). 2) My company has season tickets to the Angels, so thee deeper into post-season it goes, they sell the great seats at a premium, and it pays for next season tickets. Guess we'll only get the cash for todays game. O well.

I'm actually pulling for a Cubs/Red Sox World Series. Oh, that would make my life complete. And I'd have no idea who to root for.

And, I just now see that the Cubs are out, so nevermind.

Oh, VW - the Buffista Cookbook came in handy the other day.

Mom was looking for G'ma's Banana Bread recipe and it was in the book. Then she saw how many recipes I included so she was copying down the ones she couldn't remember where they were. (and noticed that there is no oven temp for the Teacake recipe). She also copied a bunch of recipes she wants to try.

Always would rather clean someone else's stuff. Or at least, organize it. I think I would rather do my own laundry, and clean my own bathroom. But sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, organizing? Other people's is better.

Meara, c'mon over. Sweeping, dusting & mail organizing is in HIGH demand in my wee apartment. What about putting laundry away? For some reason, when I get back from the laundromat, I have no energy/desire to put the stuff away, so it just piles up too. Which explains the constant state of wrinkles.
