ND - private schools are changing dramatically in their approach to parent relations. I hold this example from my new city up as exhibit A. Then I will go hide in shame that I live near this mess. If you want to see a catfight, read the board at the base of the article. eiyiyi.

eta - actually, I _don't_ live near it on purpose. Opposite side of the city. yay.
Do you teachers have any say in the matter?
BWAH!!!HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!
No.
But enough of this silliness. I instead want to think about Hil trapeezing (new verb?) through the air. Sounds like so much fun!
And the fact that the school "caused" the problem so they have to solve it -- and the easiest way to solve it is to make it YOUR problem.
I do this with businesses all the time, if they cause the problem, they they get to solve it, or pay the idiot tax to have me solve it. Quite often when they go to solve it, it makes life miserable for someone, somewhere in the food chain.
Hil, I think it's so cool that you do that. I wish I had the guts!
I just finished working on the sound of a human body being sent through a wood chipper.
And what does that sound like?
Owen is talking in his pirate voice (a low growl). He just came up to me and Olivia and said, "Say, arrrgh, mateys!" Then he proceeded to tell me he's a captain and showed me his treasure map.
I have achieved perfect buffista parent happiness.
