Hot damn! I'm jealous! In a crazy-sounding kind of way.
Spike's Bitches 37: You take the killing for granted.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Oh, and Emily, did you see my LJ post from last night?
If not, what's the *one* career I said I'd never consider?
Oh yeah, I did see that! I think you'd be great at it. I mean, you're enjoying the Sunday school thing too, right? Not that that's necessarily the age group you're thinking about, but it's got the crowd control element.

Although if I hadn't seen your post, I might have been puzzled. Porn inspector? Fundamentalist preacher? Mathematician?
I don't really talk about it much, but that's where I went to junior high and high school.
I didn't know that, but that's cool. I hate to drag up old stuff if it's not fun to talk about, but where did you live? I'm just curious, I guess. I don't think I want to live in MN again, but in many ways, I think it's a really nice place to live.

Bwah! I guess I don't say it as much as I thought I did, because my dad was all perplexed this morning too. I used to say it a lot: "I'll NEVER be a teacher!" I mean, both of my parents were teachers, and that just was not the road I wanted to travel.
Sucks when it seems to be in your genes.

Very true. And thankfully that's going a little better too. Although, last week they all left thinking that King David stole a poor man's sheep. Damn craft that went the lesson was trying to apply the concept, and wasn't about the story, which got them TERRIBLY confused.

I'll e-mail you, k?
Re-Gronk.
Well, thanks to someone pushing me gently, I have a resume. All shiney and everything. I showed DH and his reply was "You are extremely underpaid". Think that will work if I show it to my boss?
But now what. I haven't job hunted in forever. I've been here for almost 17 years.
If I find a new job that means I have to stay in the area. But if I look outside the area, then I have to move. I want to wait for K-Bug to graduate before I decide on anything location-wise. Money is so tight these days, it might be time to move out of the bay area. But if I get a good paying job, then we could, potentially, afford to stay.
Blarg. So confused. Is it worth putting my resume out there even if I don't know what the heck I want to do???

I'm amused to learn that not only has vw reached orgasm, she hangs out with truckers. I'm not assuming these things are related.
FTR, I did not smother to death last night, but maybe I DID lack something in my brain this morning because I came home from the farmer's market, rested the bags on the floor, stuck the refrigerables in the 'fridge, went to work, and LEFT THE TOMATOES ON THE FLOOR.
My dog, loves tomatoEs...
My apt. is going to look like an abattoir when I get home.
so what songs should ND broadcast all over Beverly Hills for us this holiday season ... er, if he felt like making a statement/not getting paid - which of course he doesn't but still ?
Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg....
