Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

{{Buffista Kitties}}

Yay for good birthdays!

From way back, to smonster: No, I am not traveling to NC this weekend, since it just doesn't work when he wants to make a side trip to his friends and I'd be squeezed in the car with Frisbee players. I have, however, answered the SYTYCD call and am planning to roadtrip down for the show. You are officially forewarned. (Any other DCistas wanna road trip in Oct?)

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Apparently I was premature in dad's nerve conduction improving. Dammit! And my mom's all like I don't want to unload on you guys and worry you... I told her that was just dumb. Of course I also had to tell her good luck getting a hold of me this weekend thanks to work and continuing education classes. Sigh.

d, lots of continuing ~ma for your dad. It has got to be very difficult to be so far away.

Oh, d. I'm sorry. More ~ma for you and your dad and your whole family. I hope you can get your passport soon so at least you don't feel so stuck so far away.

She flung herself against me, crying, "No! No! My freedom! My FREEEEDOMMMM!"

Art Crawl!!!

The guy from the electric company came and is going to change my rate: the electric heat rate is 50% of the regular electric rate.

50%

My plan is to call ComEd customer service later this morning and see if I can get that rate back to when I changed to electric heat in December.

Our wings are not tired.

That sounds encouraging, sumi.

Ouch, ChiKat! I hope it feels better today.
